I was born in a small village in the mountains of Nepal, where my parents were missionaries. Our family came back to Canada in 1981 and I then spent my adolescent years in Prince George, BC.
From a young age I remember giving my life to the Lord and having a strong desire to serve the Lord and see him do great things. Being raised in a Charismatic Church there were many times when I saw the Holy Spirit move and people were miraculously touched, including myself. This ethos that I was raised in has without a doubt influenced who I am today.
After High School I was convinced that I would go straight into full-time ministry, however the Lord had other plans and led me to Finland where I attended a Bible school for one year, after which I went to Surrey BC to finish my training at Pacific Life Bible Collage. The Lord then led me back to Finland to fulfill my military duty.
My last day in Finland I remember praying and thinking that I would go back to Canada, get married (as I was engaged at the time) and go into full-time ministry: However, again the Lord spoke and said that the next step was to go back to school. So in obedience to the Lord, and understanding the need for more training, I enrolled in ACTS Seminary.
As part of my studies in ACTS I started attending Cedar Grove Church in BC, Canada. Within one year I joined the staff as the Youth Pastor and then as the Executive Pastor. I served at Cedar Grove for 12 years.
In 2014 we moved as a family to Thunder Bay, Ontario to serve at Saalem Church.
