THE POWER OF WORSHIP PT. 5
Hey everyone, I hope your day is going well. Today we’re going to finish up this series on the power of worship. So here’s the last thing I want to share that happens when we worship. In worship, we are given God’s perspective. In other words, we are given God’s point of view, the way He sees things.
As we worship, God reveals to us who He is. This is crucial in life. Have his perspective is powerful, especially in a season of testing. In a time of testing the perspective is this: God has already won the battle! When we know who our God is we can position ourselves in victory with God because we know who He is. Make sense?
Looking to Him alone in our times of struggle gives Him space to move on our behalf. We can’t limit our understanding of God to what hasn’t happened yet. We need to look to Him alone and see things the way the God sees them. That’s the power of worship- that as we gaze upon His face (presence) everything around us is blurry in comparison.
Turn your eyes upon Jesus
Look full in His wonderful face
And the things of earth will grow strangely dim
In the light of His glory and grace
