You said yes to Jesus. Now what’s next?
The Christian journey begins with a simple invitation: come and discover Jesus for yourself.
The Bible teaches that God created us to know Him and live in relationship with Him. But sin, the choices and actions that go against God’s way, separates us from Him. Christianity centres on the belief that Jesus came to restore that relationship. Through His death and resurrection, Jesus offers forgiveness, salvation, and a new life with God.
Following Jesus is more than believing certain facts or attending church. It is a lifelong journey of learning to become more like Him. Jesus taught that the heart of this life is simple: love God with everything you are and love your neighbour as yourself.
You do not need to understand everything before beginning. Questions, doubts, mistakes, and setbacks can all be part of the journey. Growth happens one step at a time.
For Christians, some of those steps include talking honestly with God through prayer, reading and learning from the Bible, being baptized, worshipping, and building relationships with other followers of Jesus. These practices are not about earning God’s love. They help us know Him and learn to live differently.
As that relationship grows, faith begins to affect how we treat people. Jesus calls His followers to forgive, welcome others, give generously, meet needs, serve without seeking recognition, and share God’s love with others.
You do not have to have everything figured out. Following Jesus begins with a step toward Him, followed by another, one day at a time.
